BTS Star Jin Discharged from Military Service
K-pop megastar Jin from BTS celebrated his discharge from South Korea’s mandatory military service on Wednesday.
The joyous occasion was marked by a heartfelt reunion with his bandmates, who welcomed him with warm hugs and a musical performance by RM on the saxophone.
Jin, the eldest member and the first to enlist, was released from his army base in Yeoncheon County, located in northern South Korea.
Jin, still in his military uniform, was greeted by his fellow bandmates J-hope, V, RM, Jungkook, and Jimin, who had taken leave from their duties to celebrate the occasion. They presented him with a giant bouquet of flowers, and RM played the saxophone, delighting everyone with the familiar hook of BTS’s hit song “Dynamite.”
His release comes just before the 11th anniversary of BTS’s debut, with HYBE’s Seoul office and local cafes adorned in purple decorations to celebrate the milestone.
All seven members of BTS, the globally renowned boy band, have been fulfilling their military duties, a requirement for all South Korean men under 30 due to ongoing tensions with North Korea. The group has been on a self-declared hiatus since 2022.

Diddy Accused Of Manipulating Witnesses from Custody
Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, awaiting trial for racketeering and sex trafficking in 2025, has been accused of tampering with witnesses from prison.
Federal prosecutors allege that Combs used other inmates’ phone accounts, third-party services, and three-way calls to contact witnesses, violating prison regulations.
A recent motion claims Combs directed his family to reach out to witnesses and used a call with his son to imply attempts at blackmailing victims into silence or favorable testimony. He’s also accused of leveraging social media to influence potential jurors.
The charges against Combs are among the most serious faced by a high-profile figure in recent years. In October, over 100 individuals, including children, alleged rape, sexual assault, and exploitation at Combs’ hands, with many preparing lawsuits. These accusations have added to a mounting legal battle for the music mogul.
If convicted, Combs could receive a life sentence, marking a dramatic fall from grace for one of hip-hop’s most successful figures. Despite the gravity of the charges, Combs’ legal team continues to deny all allegations, labeling them as baseless and defamatory, while insisting on his innocence.
