Wakadinali is a Kenyan music trio comprising Scar Mkadinali, Domani Munga, and Sewersydaa whose real names are Churchill Mandela, David Munga Ramadhan, and Salim Ali Tangut respectively.

The trio has major projects and albums: Ndani ya Cockpit (3) 2023, Victim of Madness 2020, Haitaki Hasira 2022, etc. From their albums topping to their singles becoming national anthems: Wakadinali has top songs that got the country singing from Sikutambui, Mc Mca, and Geri Inengi. Recently the music trio has been topping Kenyan charts as the most streamed artists on different platforms.

However, the group has its share of challenges. Some stereotype their art and others demystify their music saying it promotes crime. Let’s break it down: the track Njege Sanse talks about police brutality and how a man is castrated while in custody. Also, Kim Jong Un emphasizes police crime at the expense of the victims. The album Victim of Madness showcases the life of crime as it insinuates to the audience that criminals should be looked at in a different way pointing out victimhood.

Despite the challenges, Wakadinali has been staying on top as their music traverses the urban culture. They are set to have their concert on 15th December dubbed Rong Experience: Hip Hop vs Gaming Edition. Wakadinali is iconic in the Kenyan hip-hop and entertainment scene.
