Snoop Dogg Has Staff To Keep Weed Smoking Sessions Under Control

Published

on

At 53, Snoop Dogg has long been a cultural icon, especially for his outspoken love of marijuana.

But even the “Gin and Juice” rapper knows that moderation is key, which is why he takes some surprisingly responsible precautions to keep his sessions in check. To keep things balanced, Snoop has a dedicated staff member on hand to ensure guests don’t go overboard while smoking with him.

Recently, while chatting with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Snoop was asked about the “lightest weight” smoker he’s ever lit up with. Although the rapper couldn’t name anyone right away, he playfully invited Andy to join him for a smoke and test his own limits, saying, “Let’s see if you make the list!”

Andy took him up on it, adding with a laugh, “I did okay!” He then went on to share an insider’s look at how Snoop’s team manages these smoke-filled sessions. “Snoop has a guy with him who will kind of step in and say, ‘Hey, that’s enough,’” Andy revealed, noting that the staff member is always ready to hit pause if things start getting too intense.

Snoop’s team isn’t just about regulating smoke breaks, either. The rapper has previously shared that he employs a full-time “professional blunt roller,” a role taken up by a skilled roller named Renegade Piranha. “Timing,” Snoop explained on The Howard Stern Show, is everything. “That motherf*****’s timing is impeccable.” It’s a job he takes seriously, listing his occupation proudly as “P-B-R, professional blunt roller.”

The blunt-rolling position with Snoop is well-compensated, earning between $40,000 to $50,000 annually, along with some enviable perks. Snoop added, “Free weed—all paid expenses. Everything I get, he gets. If I get some free clothes, he gets some.” And evidently, it’s a role with growth potential—Snoop recently hinted that Renegade has even enjoyed a pay bump.

With an entourage dedicated to keeping things cool and controlled, Snoop’s sessions reflect a laid-back yet careful approach to enjoying his favorite pastime. It’s not just about lighting up; it’s about lighting up responsibly—Snoop Dogg style.

Rihanna has her sights set on Billie Eilish for a dream collaboration, calling the young superstar “so good” and placing her at the top of her wishlist.

The “Work” singer, who has been on a music hiatus since releasing “Lift Me Up” for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in 2022, expressed her admiration during an interview with Access Hollywood.

When asked about her ideal collaborator, Rihanna enthusiastically stated, “If I could only do a song with Billie Eilish. Mm-mm, she’s so good.”

Billie, 22, was thrilled to receive such high praise from the 36-year-old icon. Sharing the clip on her Instagram Story, she responded, “What in the absolute f*** oh my god what the f***,” reflecting the excitement many fans felt upon hearing the news.

The admiration between the two runs deep. Billie has long praised Rihanna, calling her “the hottest person to ever exist” in a 2022 Vogue interview. In 2019, she confessed that Rihanna was the one celebrity she would love to meet—only if the singer wanted to, as she never wanted to bother her idols. The thought of collaborating with Rihanna left Billie envisioning a moment that would leave her “dying a million times.”

Meanwhile, Rihanna hinted she is “starting over” on her highly anticipated new album, which will be her first project since 2016’s Anti. With both artists at the top of their game, fans are eagerly hoping for this dream collaboration to come to life, promising an unforgettable musical experience.

Rapper T.I Announces Retirement From Live Performances

T.I. has officially announced his retirement from live performances, signaling the end of an era for the influential rapper.

The 44-year-old artist, born Clifford Harris Jr., will take the stage for the last time at the 93.1 The Beat’s Jingle Ball on December 19 in Atlanta.

During an appearance on 96.1 The Beat’s Rari at 2 show, T.I. expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to conclude his performance career but made it clear that he has no desire to continue. “I appreciate y’all for offering me my last working gig because I do not need the money anymore and I will not be performing,” he stated. “I don’t want to do it anymore. I don’t want people to pay me to hop around and sweat for their entertainment.”

When asked if he would entertain future performance offers, T.I. confirmed he would respond—only to decline. He hinted at a possible return to the stage under his own terms, leaving fans with a glimmer of hope for the future.

The rapper’s decision to step back comes on the heels of a significant legal victory that has reshaped his financial landscape. T.I. and his wife, Tiny, were awarded an impressive $71 million in damages after winning a lawsuit against MGA Entertainment. The couple accused the toy company of infringing on their OMG Girlz music group’s intellectual property rights through the creation of L.O.L. Surprise! O.M.G. dolls that closely resembled their brand. Following a three-week trial, jurors found that 13 of the dolls had “infringed on the trade dress and misappropriated the name, image, and likeness” of the OMG Girlz.

The upcoming Jingle Ball show, where T.I. will perform one last time, promises an exciting lineup, featuring artists such as Tinashe, Sexyy Red, T-Pain, Saweetie, Khalid, and The Kid LAROI.
