The world entered day 3 and the football fans across the world are starting to witness big surprises

Yesterday saw Groups C and D teams taking center stage at the ongoing 2022 Qatar World Cup.

Lusail Iconic Stadium was the first stop for fans at the tournament as Group C’s Argentina took to the pitch to play against Saudi Arabia. The latter won the match 2-1 courtesy of goal scored in quick succession by Saleh Al-Shehri and Salem Al-Dawsari. The two goals were a response to a first half penalty scored by Lionel Messi, Argentina striker.

Another group C match between Mexico versus Poland was played at Ras Abu Aboud stadium. The match ended in a 0-0 draw but Guillermo Ochoa, Mexico goalkeeper was the man of the match after pulling a fine penalty save denying Robert Lewandowski.

The fist match for group D was between Denmark and Tunisia, it was played at Education City Stadium. The teams fashioned their chances but in the end no one was able to put the ball behind the net and it ended in a goalless draw.

The defending champions France wrapped up the day as they played against Australia for the second group D match played at Al Janoub Stadium. Australia were off to a good start as they opened the scoring through Craig Goodwin and from there the defending champions started dominating the match as they went on to put four goals past Mathew Ryan, Australian goalkeeper.

The goals were scored by Adrien Rabiot, Kylian Mbappe and a brace from Oliver Giroud.

Today will see group E and F play their first matches.
Group E ( Germany vs Japan , Spain vs Costa Rica), Group F(Morocco vs Croatia , Belgium vs Canada)

Al Pacino is to be a father again at the age of 82.

The ‘Scarface’ actor – who already has Julie, 33, with ex-girlfriend Jan Tarrant and 22-year-old twins Anton and Olivia with former partner Beverly D’Angelo – will welcome his fourth child into the world in just a few weeks time because Noor Alfallah is eight months pregnant, his spokesperson has confirmed to TMZ.

Al and 29-year-old Noor – who previously dated Sir Mick Jagger and billionaire Nicolas Berggruen – have been romantically linked since April 2022, when they were pictured having dinner together.

Tina Turner Dead Aged 83

Tina Turner has died at the age of 83.

The music icon passed away peacefully at her home in Switzerland on Wednesday (24.05.23) after battling “a long illness”.

Her spokesperson said in a statement: “Tina Turner, the ‘Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll’ has died peacefully today at the age of 83 after a long illness in her home in Kusnacht near Zurich, Switzerland.

“With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model.”

Turner – whose hit songs included ‘Proud Mary’ and ‘What’s Love Got to Do With It’ – battled a number of health problems in recent years, including cancer, kidney failure and a stroke.


The singer – who had a distinctive, husky voice – ultimately became one of the biggest stars of the 80s and 90s.
