President Pierre Nkurunziza of Burundi dies of heart attack

Burundi’s President Pierre Nkurunziza has died of a heart attack at age 55, the government announced in a statement on Tuesday.

Nkurunziza was admitted to hospital on Saturday after feeling unwell, said the statement.
