Katy Perry has kicked off a new chapter in her pop career with the announcement of her sixth studio album, 143, arriving September 20 via Capitol Records.

Inspired by the symbolic number 143, representing love, Perry’s latest effort is a vibrant dance-pop celebration. “I wanted to create an album that is bold, exuberant, and full of heart,” she says.

The lead single, “Woman’s World,” is a powerful ode to female empowerment, co-written with Chloe Angelides and produced by Dr. Luke, Vaughn Oliver, Aaron Joseph, and Rocco Did It Again! Fans can pre-save or pre-order the single, which is available in various formats including signed and limited edition vinyls.

The music video, directed by Charlotte Rutherford, will premiere on MTV and Paramount+ Times Square billboards on July 11 at 4:00 PM PT.

On September 20, Perry will headline Rock in Rio in Brazil, marking her return to the festival after nearly a decade. Recently, she made waves at Paris Fashion Week, wearing a custom Noir Kei Ninomiya dress and a mini dress with “Woman’s World” lyrics on the train. She also engaged with fans via a livestream from the Eiffel Tower.

With over 115 billion streams and 70 million albums sold, Perry is among the top-selling artists globally, having surpassed 100 million certified units.
