Lewis Hamilton has entered into a partnership with Dior, becoming an ambassador for the prestigious fashion brand.

As part of this collaboration, Hamilton will co-create a limited-edition collection with Dior’s creative director, Kim Jones. The collection will draw inspiration from the African continent and focus on promoting eco-friendly fashion.

The 39-year-old Formula 1 champion expressed his excitement to WWD, saying, “Honestly, this has been such a dream. We’ve both been talking a lot about Africa.”

Kim Jones, who spent part of his childhood in various African countries including Botswana, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Ghana due to his father’s work as a hydrogeologist, highlighted the sustainable materials they are using for the collection.

Hamilton emphasized the importance of making a meaningful impact with this collaboration, noting that many other brands do not take climate change seriously.

He is committed to ensuring that their joint efforts will raise awareness and drive change in the fashion industry.
