In a recent clip, Ziggy Marley, the son of the late reggae legend, expresses his enthusiastic approval of actor Kingsley Ben-Adir’s portrayal of his father.

Ziggy reveals in the video shared by Paramount Pictures, “In the audition, I saw Kingsley, who plays my father. He was the one who captivated my attention. Kingsley did a remarkable job, embodying my father’s essence in an artful manner, steering clear of mere imitation.”

Continuing his praise, Ziggy emphasizes the importance of Ben-Adir’s portrayal in capturing the true essence of Bob Marley. “To be authentic to who Bob was, how he spoke, acted, and perceived the world, I believe Kingsley is bringing that human element. Not just focusing on the legend or the artist, but delving into the human side, the emotional core.”
