Toni Braxton has refuted recent reports suggesting she has exchanged vows with Birdman. Despite being engaged previously, the 56-year-old singer clarified that both she and the 54-year-old rapper are currently single and have no immediate plans to get married.

Taking to Instagram to address the rumors, Toni stated, “My dear friend @birdman and I are not married…never been married. We are both single.”

In a 2017 episode of ‘Braxton Family Values,’ Toni spoke fondly about Birdman, emphasizing his gestures of care, such as sending flowers. She referred to him as an “undercover gentleman” who makes her feel adored. Birdman reciprocated the sentiments during an appearance on ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ in 2018, expressing that Toni was his love, soldier, and everything in life.

The couple officially confirmed their engagement in February 2018 but had to postpone their wedding due to demanding work schedules. Toni shared the challenges of setting a wedding date in the entertainment industry on ‘Braxton Family Values,’ saying, “B and I got engaged seven months ago, but we haven’t set a date because of my schedule. I hate that. You’re supposed to set a date and stick to it. But unfortunately, in our business, it can be challenging sometimes.”

Despite the delay, the pair remained together until November 2023, as evidenced by a now-deleted Instagram post where Toni shared a photo of a kiss with the record producer. However, their relationship has seemingly experienced ups and downs in recent years.

Before her involvement with Birdman, Toni Braxton was married to singer-songwriter Keri Lewis from 2001 to 2013, with whom she shares two sons, Diezel Ky, and Denim Cole, aged 20 and 22, respectively.
