This is the time to remember that our community’s well-being enhances our own.  Embracing the spirit of giving and unity not only brings us together but also creates a thriving environment for all.

This year, why not make community service a key part of your holiday celebrations? Gather your friends and plan to spread those good vibes by engaging in community work and yes, community work can be fun. Here are a few ways to make a big impact and spread those good vibes:

Christmas Clothes Drive:

Everyone deserves to feel special on Christmas day. Organize a clothes drive with friends and family. Collect gently used clothes that no longer fit and donate them to a local children’s home. Adding a Merry Christmas card to each bundle will surely brighten someone’s holiday.

Volunteering Time and Skills:

With schools closed and many workplaces on holiday, use your extra time to make a difference. Rally your friends to volunteer at local shelters, call it spending quality time together. Your skills can be put to great use – from tutoring children, organizing sports activities, to helping with cleaning and cooking. Even just spending quality time with those at the shelter can make their Christmas merry and memorable. After all, quality time is a love language.
