I love Anime but hate Attack on Titan! Here is the reason why.
I Robert, male 30 years has 14 years 10 months experience when it comes to watching Anime. Just like my previous post anime is not cartoon and I am here to tell you why and also expound on my love hate relationship with AOT.
An anime that has broken my heart more than anyone and given me a lot of sleepless nights. (Robert it’s never that serious) Well, you haven’t met Eren Yeager, it is that serious.
In 2013, the mind-blowing Action, fiction season began, from this time AOT gained a huge fan base with me included. 2023 is when AOT just ended with season 4 part something.. something. 10 long agonizing years, for an ending that still gives me sleepless nights. How can I love it, tell me how.
Google (AOT on PS4)
*Anyway, spoilers might be included be warned *
It is set in a world where humanity is forced to live in cities surrounded by three enormous walls that protect them from gigantic man-eating humanoids referred to as Titans; the story follows Eren Yegar who vows to exterminate the Titans after they bring about the destruction of his hometown and the death of his mother.
This is a perfect start to an anime, believe me, I have watched enough anime to know. Fast forward to the final ending. SMH… For me, I cursed half the time watching part 3 season 4. This is when the hate boiled over. Tell me why, the main character gets killed by the lady (Mikasa) who loves him in a place he vowed he would never die in (Inside a titan’s mouth).
Mikasa, Eren’s decapitated head and Ymir looking on.
Let’s wrap it up! The Attack on Titan creators can revive our rollercoaster bond by serving up a fresh twist. My twist: a young lad, a spitting image of Mikasa’s kin, gazes upon Eren’s grave in a world devoid of Titan powers. Dive into the untold saga, a perpetual loop where Eren’s grave is the epicenter of the founding Titan’s might. Time for AOT to shake things up!
Take a binge-watch plunge and join the love-hate relationship with AOT producers. What’s Your thoughts? Let’s talk! Thank you for reading through!
