As of Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 2:45 pm, Maliha had clocked 140 hours of cooking, breaking the previous record by more than 20 hours. She stated she has proven her prowess by cooking impressively for 150 hours continuously. She goes down in history books beating Nigerian Hida Bachi and Irish Chef Alan Fisher who have a record of 93 hours 11 minutes and 119 hours 57 minutes respectively.
Despite the chef passing out during the process, this did not hinder her as she posted on her Instagram story; ” I am a conquerer and a marathon runner, Nothing can bring us down.”
Different celebrities drummed support for her as they cheered her on in song and dance.
