President William Is Now A Grandfather
Call him grandpa! President William Ruto revealed that he is now a grandfather after his son Nick and wife Evelyn welcomed a newborn.
The Head of State, while speaking during an interdenominational prayer service at Nanyuki Stadium in Laikipia county, on Sunday, January 8, thanked the residents for giving him a daughter-in-law whom he says has since been blessed with a firstborn.
The Head of State did, however, not share either the gender or the name of his grandchild.
His firstborn son Nick Ruto held his wedding on January 15, 2022 at Windy Ridge in Karen, Nairobi.
Nick,30, tied the knot with his lover Evelyn Chemutai, (a daughter to Mr and Mrs David Baron from Laikipia county), in a beautiful traditional ceremony otherwise known as Koito among the Kalenjin community.
Nick’s nuptials came barely a year after Ruto’s firstborn daughter June officially walked down the aisle to her Nigerian learned lover Alex Ezenagu in May 2021.
