BTS frontman Jung Kook has made history as the first Korean artist to perform at the World Cup.

The K-Pop star debuted his new solo single and the official World cup anthem ‘Dreamers’ on Sunday 20th November 2022 at the opening ceremony for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Jung Kook performed the RedOne-produced ‘Dreamers’ alongside featured guest and Qatari singer Fahad Al Kubaisi.

Clad in a sparkly black jacket, the South Korean ‘Michael Jackson’ showed off his energetic dancing moves along with a bunch of backup dancers.

“Look who we are, we are the dreamers/ We make it happen, ’cause we believe it,” he sings in the motivational single.

On Friday, Nicki Minaj, Maluma and Myriam Fares shared their World Cup anthem ‘Tukoh Taka,’ which joined a slew of singles promoting the tournament released earlier this year.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup kicked off with an opening ceremony and host nation Qatar’s match against Ecuador.
