Hitmakers Buruklyn Boyz, Matata, Fena, Octopizzo, Nadia Mukami To Perform At Sol Fest

The second annual Sol Fest is slated for the 17th of December, 2022 is one of the most anticipated events of the year.

The organisers of the massive event have released the line up of the day. The headliners are Sauti Sol and Sol Generation who without a doubt will shut it down the concert which will be held at the Fox Drive – Inn on Thika Road.

Nairobi’s hottest drill crew ‘Buruklyn Boyz,’ multiple award-winning star ‘Octopizzo,’ multitalented group ‘Matata,’ singer-rapper ‘Fena Gitu,’ and songstress Nadia Mukami are among those who will be performing.

Matata, which consists of five members (Marcus Ojiambo, Ken Kimathi, Richie Mathu, Freddie Milanya, and Festus Mwenda), recently released their debut album titled ‘Super Morio’.

Octopizzo also released a new project titled ‘Lamu Nights,’ a ten-track compilation featuring various talents such as Burukyn Boyz.

In 2021, Sauti Sol announced they were embarking solo pursuits dubbed Alone Together, which was conceptualized at the height of the pandemic. Bien Aime Baraza with Bald Men Anthem that features piano maestro Aaron Rimbui. Father Studies by Fancy Fingers, Heavy is the Crown by Chimano and Savage Level by Savara have all been well received by fans.

Meanwhile, as revellers eagerly await the upcoming ‘Sol Fest’ extravaganza, early bird and regular couple tickets have already sold out.
