Weekend wrap: Arsenal maintain lead as Liverpool and Chelsea are stunned

Arsenal still reigning at the top of the EPL table while Forest remain rock-bottom

This weekend saw game week 14 of the English Premier League take place across the United Kingdom.

Manchester City opened the weekend fixtures with a 1-0 win away at Leicester City courtesy of a well taken free kick by Kevin de Bruyne.

Later Chelsea travelled Falmer to face Brighton &Hove Albion at the Amex stadium. The newly appointed Chelsea manager, Graham Potter was facing his former side for the first time and the results were not pleasing as his team was stunned 4-1. Goals by Trossard, pascal and two own goals from Loftus-cheek and Chalobah ensured the hosts went home with the three points.

In another match, Liverpool played host to Leeds United at Anfield in which the visitors won 2-1. Leeds opened the scoring through Rodrigo who capitalized on a defending mistake by Gomez, Liverpool defender.

Liverpool went on to equalize through Mohamed Salah only to be stunned later on the closing stages of the match final by Crysencio Summerville.

On sunday, Arsenal played host to bottom of the table Nottingham Forest. The host put 5 goals past the Forest goals keeper without a reply climbing back to the top of the table.

Manchester United stunned Westham 1-0 while Tottenham Hotspurs came from 2goals down to beat Bournemouth 3-2.
